Firewood Collection FAQ
Q: How do I access firewood from Taan Forest’s operating areas?
A: It is available for purchase, or you can personally collect it from the woods by following these rules:
Personal Use Firewood: Contact Taan for your permit. You will be assigned an access area that is currently inactive.
Resale Firewood: Contact the Ministry of Forests for a license and contact Taan Forest for approval. You will be required to pay stumpage and be permitted to take marked salvage wood from non-active logging areas.
